A blog is a site where articles are written in a chronological order i.e. listing of stories by earliest to latest time and being displayed in reverse chronological order. We can create a blog on any topic of our choice.
I have worked on a number of blogging sites. But some of them are my favorite. Here I am sharing with you my top 5 lists of blogging sites I love:
- Blogger
Blogger was created by Pyra labs and was bought by Google in 2003. Many people prefer to create their blogs on Blogger.
- Wordpress
Wordpress is a blogging software written in PHP and backed by MYSQL database. The latest version of version of wordpress is 2.2.1
- Typepad
Typepad is a blogging service launched in October 2003 by Six Apart Ltd. Typepad is the largest paid blogging service n the world.
- LiveJournal
LiveJournal in short LJ is a virtual community where users car create their blogs or journal. LJ was started in March 1999 by Brad Fitzpatrick
- Windows Live Spaces
Windows Live Spaces is Microsoft's Social Networking platform. The site was originally released in early 2004 under the MSN Spaces name
If I make the comparison between blogging software’s in order of being used by people, Blogger is quite ahead of all other blogging software’s. My obvious choice for blogging remains to be Blogger as I find it much easy to use and maintain a blog on Blogger. So guy’s what’s your favorite blogging site?

Yeah, Alec. I have no doubt about this listing. Favorite blogging sites various from person to person. There are many people who love to blog at wordpress only while some others are comfortable in working on blogger.
